The full moon illuminates Japanese magnolia blossoms, in shades of magenta, pink and white. The night sky is in shades of deepening blue with a hint of purple. This piece, part of the Zen Moonlight modern art series (botanical abstract landscapes in a contemporary Asian style), is an original oil painting on a gallery-wrapped stretched canvas (the 3/4" staple-free sides are finished off in indigo acrylic) and has a hanger on the back—no need to frame (see the Ordering Page for more technical information). |
