A Great Egret stands in the koi pond at Hakone Japanese Gardens in Saratoga, California. In the background, a triple waterfall cascades past a stone lantern. Purple wisteria, pink rhododendron and azaleas bloom. The reddish leaves on the Japanese maple trees add yet more color to this tranquil scene.
