Ravens (or crows) set in each season, the tree branches carrying across the canvases. Spring is represented by cherry blossoms and a night sky of lime green, deepening to emerald. Summer shows two ravens perched on evergreen pine branches. Golden autumn is represented by a raven on moss covered branches. And a raven takes flight against the bare white tree branches of winter. Part of the Timeless series, which uses thin layers of wash inspired by grunge contemporary art to give an ancient, dreamy feeling. Offered as a set of original acrylic paintings on gallery-wrapped stretched canvases (the 3/4" sides are finished off in black acrylic)--no need to frame. They have been lightly varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors. The copyright watermarks on the images do not appear on the actual paintings.
If you would like the canvases fitted with picture wire, let me know at the time of purchase (no additional charge). They can be hung as is on one or two parallel nails but some people prefer hanging wire if the piece is going to be hung unframed. |
