Turtle Pond Original Oil Painting by Laura Milnor Iverson

Side View:
Turtle Pond
The more you look into this painting, the more you see. A shaft of light zings through the redwoods and pine trees, illuminating the blossoming cherry tree, rhododendron, azalea, Japanese Maple and wisteria. Following the stairs leading down to the pagoda, you notice the dragonflies lighting on the stalks of grass beside a pond where two turtles enjoy this beautiful place. This living landscape from Hakone Japanese Gardens (located in Saratoga, California) is on a gallery-wrapped canvas (the sides are finished off in teal acrylic) and has a hanger on the back—no need to frame (see the Ordering Page for more technical information).
