Tsukubai
A Japanese Maple tree and bamboo garden provides the backdrop for the tsukubai, or water basin, located in the Tea Garden at Hakone Japanese Gardens, in Saratoga, California. The tsukubai, used to purify yourself before entering the tea ceremony rooms, is a stone water basin with a bamboo spout. This landscape is on a gallery-wrapped canvas (the sides are finished off in dark red acrylic) and has a hanger on the back—no need to frame (see the Ordering Page for more technical information).
