Quan Yin in the Rosy Dawn

Laura Milnor Iverson

Quan Yin, the Buddhist goddess (Boddhisattva) of compassion, among branches of cherry blossoms, under a luminous full moon. She holds a dove in one hand and mala prayer beads in the other. This zen mandala is part of the Dreamscapes series, which combines my original paintings with digital enhancements. Many layers went into producing this piece and creating the gentle pink and rose tones of the dawn. The grunge texture give the piece a weathered, timeless feel. The copyright watermarks on the image do not appear on the actual print.
