The Lone Cypress (or Monterey Cypress) is a California landmark. The tree overlooks the sea along Carmel's 17-mile drive and is a popular inspiration for photographers and artists. I caught it just as the day was fading. This California ocean seascape is an original oil painting on stretched canvas. It is framed in a contemporary, walnut-finished wood frame and ready to hang.
