Wispy clouds float through the blue skies, over the green California hills, studded with oak trees. A wooden gate stands open in a crumbling adobe wall. A crow, messenger between worlds, perches on the Spanish tile roof. In the foreground, flowering cactus and orange California poppies complete the scene. This somewhat surreal landscape, from the Rio-Caledonia Adobe in San Miguel (central California), is an original acrylic painting on a gallery-wrapped stretched canvas (the 3/4" staple-free sides are finished off in brown acrylic)--no need to frame. It has been lightly varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors. The copyright watermark does not appear on the actual painting. | ||||
