A Siamese cat crouches on a rock, watching the koi pond at Hakone Japanese Gardens in Saratoga, California. In the background, a waterfall cascades past the stone lantern, nearly hidden by the rhododendren, camellias and other luxurious foliage in a variety of colors...pinks, reds, browns and purples. Cherry blossoms and purple wisteria complete the scene.
