Sunrise in Moon WindowIn the moon window of a teahouse, a black and white cat sleeps contentedly as the sun rises. Steam is rising from the blue tetsubin (Japanese cast iron teapot). If you look closely, you can just make out koi swimming on the teapot. Two yunomi (teacups) in sand and sea colors have been laid out, which match the tea caddy on the window sill. Behind the stone path is the garden where a blossoming magnolia tree greets the new day. A branch has been brought in and rests in a burgundy bowl to complete the tea.
