Artist Bio

I have been painting most of my life. I am a native Californian and much of my inspiration comes from the beautiful natural landscape of the San Francisco Bay Area…the woods, the ocean, the rolling hills, the native wildflowers and wildlife. Even the surreal tree branches in the Zen series are often taken from the gnarled old oak trees I see on my walks. Other inspirations include teapots (I love tea) and animals, especially cats. My fascination with the paranormal pops up from time to time in the ghost paintings.

I am a second-generation artist. My father, Walter Sears Milnor (1936-2001), concentrated on painting large canvases of the California missions.

I have been selling online since 2002 and have an excellent track record for customer service. Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.
